Bonisch Environmental is a subsidiary of the successful land development company Bonisch Consultants.
Bonisch Environmental is led by John Engel who brings to the table more than 30 years of extensive experience in Resource Consent. During this time he worked for the Regional Council and its predecessor the Catchment Board gaining first-hand knowledge of the Resource Consent process and building valuable relationships with consultants and specialists nationwide.
As the requirements of current clients and new clients continue to grow the team is expanding through new consultant, Kieran McNaught. Kieran is a born and bred Southlander who completed his first year in engineering before moving on to a Bachelor of Science majoring in Geology and finishing with a Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Society at the University of Canterbury.
Bonisch offer a problem solving approach which focuses on enabling clients to proceed with their projects while helping to safeguard the natural environment and the resources within it. Facilitating the use of natural and physical resources in a way that enables people and communities to provide for their social, economic and cultural well-being.
The Bonisch team can assist with policy and plan development, processing Resource Consent applications as well as checking existing consents and advising changes that may need to be made to keep in line with changing legislation. This is fundamental to the Resource Management Act but often overshadowed by perceptions that all projects cause irreparable environment damage.
Bonisch Environmental has the knowledge and experience to assess your project, inform clients of the consenting process and help them achieve their goals whilst ensuring any environmental impact is well managed.
